Senior Technician - Amusement - (16000072)



Description

The job holder is responsible to oversee the maintenance of Sega Republic including all attractions, amusement and ensures the safety of rides in Sega Republic.

Theme Park Maintenance:

Conducts preventive maintenance inspections or periodic schedule as determined, completes inspection forms and signs the documents to verify products are safe to operate
Reports faults to the Technical Manager immediately and informs the Technical Manager to be fully aware of when the product will be repaired and moved back onto the operation floor.
Leads the Technical Team in the event that a product is out of order for a period of time. Liaises with the Technical Manager and prepares for the faulty product to be moved to backyard area for repair.
Ensures all auxiliary equipment in the building are in good working condition. 
Reports to the Technical Manager and Operations Manager in the event of a product being offline for 30 minutes and proposes a solution / liaises with the support services.
Ensures items delivered are checked, informs the Technical Manager of the delivery and passes over the delivery note. 
Ensures advance replacement parts used are sent back to the supplier before the time deadline to ensure no additional cost to the company. Informs the Technical Manager of all advance parts on company premises.
Ensures all used faulty parts have attached identifying labels and the parts used folder is up to date.
Plans in advance to achieve targets and deadlines set by the Technical Manager.
Works within the Technical Team in assisting wherever possible and performs other duties as requested by the Technical Manager.
Maintenance Reports:
Prepares inventory report for stock parts and for tools as per the schedule. Reports missing tools or stock parts to the Technical Manager.
Provides end of shift handover report to the Technical Manager. 
Adherence to Policies and Procedures:
Behaves in line with code of conduct and adheres to company policies and procedures

Qualifications

Degree or Diploma in relevant field of Engineering (Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical)
Experience:
Minimum 4 years experience in either a theme park or family entertainment centre on the technical aspects.

You will manage a team of Area Loss Prevention Managers to implement strategic initiatives to significantly reduce and minimise areas of risk related to security, stock loss, shrinkage and safety, you will be responsible for contingency and crisis management across all business operations, investigating and reviewing data, trends and results, taking remedial actions to maximise sales, profit and minimise loss/risk.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing a loss prevention team, developing training needs and delivering methods to improve knowledge and skills base
• Investigating and collaborating with operational and other support functions in order to reduce loss in all business areas
• Developing, implementing and improving upon systems to minimise loss, conducting loss prevention reviews to measure compliance, highlighting common themes, and offering solutions / process changes to minimise risk/loss
